Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

There was a moment in my life that I hated wearing dresses. I didn't like how I looked or how limited my movements were. I remember it was my cousins quince and we were suppose to dress up nicely and everything. I didn't want to though and just planned on going in jeans and a t-shirt. But I remember my cousin wanted me in a dress and this was her big day. I remember when I told my mom, she was very happy and bought me a dress and little heels. I hated it but I saw how happy my cousin looked when she saw me in a dress. It was worth stepping out of my comfort zone.

We read chapter 10 and 11 of A Lesson Before Dying. I learned that sometimes it be your own people that force you and make you do stuff that you don't want to. That some people need to stand up against their elders because they aren't always right.
