If you were President of the United States of America, what are 5 things that you would do and why?

If I was President of the United States of America I would give homeless people a house and some money to help them out. I would make abortion legal and lower the price on feminine products because there is no reason for them to be that expensive. I would make the legal process easier for those coming to live in America. Lower the tax a bit more and have free health care. Do something about these school shootings because students or any staff members shouldn't be scared to step into a school building.

We did a Newsela about Jimmy Carter, our 39th President. I learned that Jimmy Carter was awarded a Nobel Prize. I learned that even if you aren't in a powerful position, you can still make big changes in the world.
