Write about a feeling that took you by surprise.

The time when I was laughing at my best friend while he cried to me. It shocked me since I've never laughed at him while he was being vulnerable towards me. I remember just muting myself during the phone call and just laughing as he spoke to me. I was expecting to feel sympathy for him or any soft emotions. But I didn't, I just laughed. I was trying to tell myself it was okay because he was trying to paint himself as the victim.
Today in class I worked on annotating the poem "Out Out" by Robert Frost and then did some analysis. I learned two messages from the poem; Danger is around us all the time and Life can end within a blink of an eye. I also learned how to do a complex account and more literary techniques.
